With this album Sue spent the next few years playing the songs at gigs \/ showcases \/ events around Dublin and Ireland as well as taking her album on tour around Europe.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Nothing Short of Everything\u2019, Sue&#8217;s second album, was released in Smock Alley Theater in June 2014.<\/p>\n<p>This album encompasses many of the same elements as the first; her acoustic guitar, vocals and lots of backing vocals.\u00a0 Antonio Garc\u00eda-Lopez and P\u00e9ter Sebesty\u00e9n perform the string quartet parts.\u00a0 The Lebanese based rhythms of Fadi Hatoum on darbuka compliment the percussive guitar strums, as well as highlighting different flavours in the string parts.\u00a0 This fusion-esque blend distinguishes the project from \u2018Not In Love\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The Hostages, as Sue\u2019s backing band, are the varied and talented musicians that help her to bring her arrangements to life inside and outside the studio.\u00a0 The release of \u2018Nothing Short of Everything\u2019 was celebrated with the help of eleven Hostages at the Smock Alley Theatre where Sue played the album in full with a live string quartet, backing singers, an acoustic percussion section, and acoustic guitars and bass.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/nAFYaKyfLtg\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Sue is involved in many different projects as a professional musician.\u00a0 She manages the Lucan School of Music and teaches guitar there, as well as being Musical Director for four community choirs.\u00a0 As a guitarist she is currently playing as part of the Spook of the Thirteenth Lock&#8217;s Electric Guitar Orchestra, and as a singer this year she has performed Mozart&#8217;s Coronation Mass as part of the Kod\u00e1ly International Summer School choir in Kecskemet, Hungary.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" style=\"border: none; overflow: hidden;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/plugins\/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FAGirlNamedSueMusic%2Fvideos%2F10157378334620483%2F&amp;show_text=0&amp;width=560\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<div class='avia-image-container  av-styling-   avia-align-center '  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"  ><div class='avia-image-container-inner'><img class='avia_image ' src='https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/tile-bottom.jpg' alt='' title='tile-bottom'   itemprop=\"contentURL\"  \/><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/10"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=10"}],"version-history":[{"count":10,"href":"https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/10\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":76,"href":"https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/pages\/10\/revisions\/76"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/suecallaghan.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=10"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
